نصب وإحتيال في أحد مطاعم الحمرا في مدينة بيروت، وهذا ما كتبته إحدى ضحايا المطعم:
ظهر البارحة، اتصلت بمطعم بندقجي الذي يقع في منطقة الحمرا بيروت. حجزت مكانا لخمسة أشخاص لمشاهدة مباراة لكرة القدم هناك. وسألني الشخص عما إذا كنا نريد ان نطلب العشاء وقلت له لا. وقال حسنا ثم اخذ اسمي للحجز ورقم الهاتف. ولم يذكر أي رسوم الحد الأدنى !!
ذهبنا إلى هناك في الساعة 9:30 مساء، وكنا اثنين. وصل ثلاثة أشخاص آخرين في وقت متأخر عند الساعة 11:30. طلبنا العصائر والقهوة، والاركيلة والفواكه بمبلغ يقدر بحوالي 40$. وأضافوا إلى الطاولة الترمس، الفول، والمكسرات، والمياه، والحلويات التي لم نطلبها.
ذهبت لدفع الفاتورة وطلب مني (المدير) أن ادفع 140$ دون حتى إعطائي الفاتورة. طلبت الفاتورة للتحقق. سألت لماذا هذه قيمة هائلة مقارنة بما طلبنا؟! وقال إن هناك حد ادنى وهو 20$ للشخص الواحد والتي لم أكن أعرف عنها!!
حتى لو كانت هذه القيمة 20$ صحيحة، يجب أن يكون مجموع الفاتورة 100$ وليس اضافة 100$ إلى ما طلبناه!! هنا عرفت لماذا كان العديد من الناس أيضا يتذمرون ويناقشون عند استلام الفاتورة! وحتى يبرر المطعم المبلغ الاضافي، يضيف على الفاتورة كل الاصناف التي لم نطلبها المذكورة أعلاه.
تناقشت مع المدير (الذي لم يكن قابلا للنقاش) الذي قال إنه سبق أن قال لي على الهاتف عن الحد الأدنى وهذا غير صحيح! وبالاضافة قال لي وبطريقة كتير وقحة وحرفيا "مدام انت ما تتطلعي عتفاصيل الفاتورة، عليكي تشوفي التوتال وتدفعي"!!!! أخذ بطاقة الائتمان من يدي وقال للموظف حرفيا "سكر حساب الطاولة يلا"! وبالإضافة إلى ذلك، قال لي ساخرا انه لا يتفاوض مع نساء!!!
في نهاية الامر دفعنا 100$ ولكن ما حدث هو عار وافتراء من هذا (المطعم) اذا صح التعبير.
الأمر برسم مديرية حماية المستهلك، وزارة الاقتصاد وأي جمعية تعنى بالمساواة بين المرأة والرجل...
Happened yesterday:
Yesterday at noon, I called BENDAKJI restaurant located in Hamra Beirut. I booked a place for five persons to watch a football match at their place. He asked whether we want to order dinner and I told him NO. He said fine and he took the name to reserve and the phone number. HE DID NOT MENTION ANY MINIMUM CHARGES!!
We went there at 9:30 PM and we were two. The other three people arrived late at 11:30. We ordered juices, coffee, argileh and fruits which sum up to around 40$. They added to the table termos, nuts, water, foul and sweets which we DID NOT ORDER.
I went to the Cashier to pay and he asked me to pay 140$ WITHOUT even giving me the receipt. I asked for the receipt to check.
I asked why is this enormous value for compared to what we ordered?! He said there is a minimum charge of 20$ per person which I DID NOT KNOW ABOUT!!
Even if there is a 20$ charge, the total should be 100$ and not adding extra 100$ in addition to our order!!
While negotiating with him (although he was not at all open for discussion), he (the manager) said that he already told me on the phone about the minimum charge which is not true! He also literally said: "Madame do not look at the details of the receipt, just look at the total and pay it"!!!! He took the credit card from my hand told the employee to take out the required amount! In addition, he sarcastically told me that he DOES NOT NEGOTIATE WITH WOMEN!!!
At the end we paid 100$ but what happened was a total shame and disgrace from this restaurant.
